Position : Packaging Lab Manager (On consultant basis)

Duration : 2-3 months
Job Type : Contract(Remote, whenever required need to travel).
Job description:
Oversees and manages all aspects of a packaging lab's operations, including testing, quality control, and personnel management. They ensure testing timelines are met, lead resolution of project issues, and contribute to the development of packaging strategies. They also play a crucial role in maintaining lab equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and improving packaging sustainability.
- Planning and Assessment:
Evaluating the lab's contents, identifying hazards, and developing a detailed decommissioning plan.
- Packing and Moving:
Safely packing and moving lab equipment, including sensitive instruments, following established procedures and regulations.
- Hazardous Material Management:
Identifying, segregating, packaging, and disposing of hazardous materials according to regulations.
- Decontamination:
Cleaning and decontaminating lab surfaces and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Documentation and Compliance:
Maintaining accurate records of all decommissioning activities and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Equipment Disposal:
Coordinating the proper disposal or recycling of equipment, including hazardous waste, through approved channels.
- Collaboration:
Working with various stakeholders, including lab personnel, safety officers, and facilities staff, to ensure a smooth decommissioning process.
Candidate Requirement:
- Graduate in packaging/Engineering/Science or related field.
- Experience in packaging, managing lab & team from FMCG, CPG, Consumer products industry.
- Communication skills good in written & speaking.
- Candidate should have work permit to work in USA.
