Job Description: We are seeking a packaging engineer to develop, implement, and optimize packaging solutions using sustainable materials. This role requires balancing function, cost-effectiveness, and compliance, with an added focus on minimizing environmental impact. Their responsibilities primarily occur in a manufacturing or production plant setting. Work directly with the manufacturing department to ensure that new packaging designs and materials can be efficiently integrated into existing production lines and machinery. Coordinate and execute packaging line trials to validate performance and manufacturability before full-scale production. This includes monitoring for material scrap and product damage. Part of a fully integrated cross-functional team, working closely with R&D Platforms, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, and Marketing. Re-launching a brand and advancing those priorities. Development projects, starting up the production line, improving packaging to run more efficiently. Conduct and manage commissioning, start-up, supplier experiments, trials, and analyses to validate and advance technical packaging. Partner with supplier resources against key initiatives. Product commercialization process from packaging design. ign. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or related field
5+ years of Package Engineering preferably in the Food & Beverage, FMCG or related industry.
